Chain of Custody
RxTox follows a strict chain of custody, and we will instruct you as to how to do the same. The result of careful collection and documentation of urine samples at all times is not only protection against manipulation and tampering, but assurance that the testing will be able to stand up in a court of law, if necessary. Any weak links in the chain will only serve to degrade and bring into question the test results.
Chain of custody is a continual process, from the collection of urine all the way through the reporting of results. Sealing the container, transporting the specimen, laboratory receipt, supervised testing, and releasing results are all strictly regulated by RxTox and require appropriate authorizations.
