Saroj Wadhwa, M.D., Laboratory Director

Dr. Wadhwa has over 35 years of experience as a board-certified and actively practicing Gynecologist. Dr. Wadhwa's vast experience includes a Fellowship in Pathology at Magee-Women's Hospital alongside Bernard Klionsky, M.D., and previous appointments as Clinical Director for Advanced Techniques in Fertility Management at Western Pennsylvania Hospital and Medical Director of the Planned Parenthood Center of Pittsburgh. She initially earned a laboratory Federal CLIA license in 1997 and is an active member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the Allegheny County Medical Society.

Michael Zemaitis, Phd., Scientific Director

Dr. Zemaitis is a Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. He has been a faculty member since 1975 and served as Department Vice-Chair and Interim Chair between 1998 and 2005. Dr. Zemaitis has extensive experience in drug and metabolite analysis and development of unique GC/MS testing methods and is also an active member of several scientific societies such as the American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics, the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology, the Society of Toxicology, the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy and the American Pharmacists Association.

Alice Holland, Supervisor of Toxicology

A research biologist and chemist with over ten years of laboratory bench work analysis in university and forensic settings, Alice has the analytical laboratory experience to develop methodologies to suit the needs of our clients while ensuring accurate turnaround times for specimens. Previously, she spent nine years as a Forensic Toxicologist, Primary Scientist, and expert witness at the Allegheny County Medical Examiners Office Division of Forensic Laboratories.

Nina Gusmar, Esq., Legal Counsel & Director of Marketing

Ms. Gusmar holds Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of Pittsburgh, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Richmond. Ms. Gusmar is responsible for advising the management of RxTox on the potential impacts of a variety of legal and compliance matters, including existing and emerging legislative issues, statutes, decisions, and regulations. Additionally, Ms. Gusmar directs the marketing department of RxTox, and is responsible for strategies and communications in response to physician, patient and community relations issues.

Neal Wadhwa, Managing Director

Mr. Wadhwa holds a Master of Business Administration, a Bachelor of Science in finance, and brings to RxTox many years of experience in business management, business development and operations. Mr. Wadhwa provides oversight on all of RxTox’s business operations, including coordinating the efforts of the lab supervisor and technicians, the billing staff and the sales force in order to achieve the company’s goal of consistently delivering value to the physician, the office practice, and the patient.
